CJS is seeking an Information Assurance Technical Writer to support an awarded contract at Port Hueneme, CA for Enterprise Operations Support (EOS).

You must have an active Secret Security clearance or a clearance that has been active in the last two years.

Job Functions
The NAVFAC Cyber Security program requires the creation of technical documentation.  The type of documentation will be determined based on the individual system and customer need. The government will provide standards and procedures related to Cyber Security support, as requirements identified.  The tasks completed under this contract will provide Cyber Security policy support to NAVFAC with respect to federal, DoD, and DON Cyber Security related data calls and Cyber Security related taskers. All documentation will be designed using standard NAVFAC tools and capable of being printed or deployed via the NAVFAC portal or the Navy network
Provide expertise in the application of Navy correspondence, documentation standards, practices, and methods, procedures in producing, maintaining, and management of Cyber Security documentation, records and publications. Documentation is to include but is not limited to contractor recommendations, updating and maintaining target audience specific Cyber Security SOPs, templates, and technical documentation to explain complex technical requirements or capturing existing and improved processes. Additionally requires assistance with documenting Cyber Security and C&A events, business continuity planning, integrated process teams (IPTs), DIACAP package review teams, and testing and evaluating working groups.
Contractor is required participate in work induction meetings with the government to discuss compliance, as well as current and future documentation projects. Meeting are ad hoc, and will be issued via invite or email by the government.
Deliverable components (to include but not limited to): tracking, editing, and creating checklists, flowcharts, guidance, guidance/worksheets, word documents, spreadsheets, signature pages and templates, as requested ad hoc by the government. Review Cyber Security correspondence, project plans, data call responses, technical reports, metrics reports and policy documents for correctness, grammar and formatting. Create, maintain and manage Cyber Security documentation, records and publications as assigned by manager.

 Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• • 3 or more years of experience in technical writing and documentation for information systems, or data security components
• Experience working with information security practices, networks, software, and hardware
• Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Experience working with security architecture a plus
