Senior Systems Engineer

CJSeto Support Services, LLC is looking for qualified support personnel with SECRET clearances (active or inactive) for contingent hire to provide SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSCPAC) Navy Enterprise Data Center (NEDC) required operational and engineering services.

This person must have the ability to communicate clearly with upper management and flag-level staff, work well under pressure and have extensive integration experience with diverse hardware, OS, Network, and SAN devices. This includes infrastructure capabilities and limitations. Excellent customer service/problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication skills (verbal and written) is required.

Position Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Systems Architecture and Design, Information Assurance, System Administration and System Engineering
  • Proficient with MS Project 2010 or higher
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certification in multiple Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft), Network Technologies (Juniper, Cisco, Broadcom, F5) and a wide variety of application integration experience
  • Minimum Certifications:
    • CSWF IAT Level II certification (DoD 8570.01-M)
      • CompTIA Security+
      • OS Certification (Windows: MCITP (Server Administrator or higher), Linux: LPIC2, LPIC3, RHCE, RHCSA, Solaris: SCSA)
  • Experienced with DoD DMZ  and NMCI EDMZ architectures, and Defense In Depth strategies
  • Experience to provide guidance for tasks associated with system re-engineering
    • Review/Approve Engineering Analysis
    • Review/Approve Risk Assessment
    • SME Installation, configuration, troubleshooting support (OS, Application, Design)
  • Must have an understanding of security technologies (Reverse Web Proxy, Load Balancers, Application Firewall, Firewalls, etc.)
  • Working Experience with:
    • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
    • Virtualized infrastructure (VMware preferred)
    • Analyzing required ports, protocols, and services to generate firewall change request
    • VLANs, TCP/IP routing, common network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Must be able to create documents, spreadsheets, and detailed system architecture drawings/diagrams (preferably in MS Office 2010  and Visio 2010 or higher)
