CJSeto Support Services, LLC, has an immediate contingent hire openings for qualified IT personnel at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, Bethesda, MD (NSWC Carderock).

Minimum/General Experience:  The VCT Technician shall have at least two (2) years of experience in each of the following: VTC and A/V equipment operation from multiple manufactures; VTC and A/V industry standards; WAN technologies, as they apply to VTC operations; Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, and Outlook); PC operations and technology. The VCT Technician shall have acceptable customer service skills as well as oral and written communication skills. 
Functional Responsibilities:   Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.  Help Desk Services incorporates operation of the corporate Help Desk, desktop and peripheral support, and computer repair and baseline services.  In addition, schedule, setup, and troubleshoot unclassified and classified corporate Video Teleconferencing (VTC) sessions.
  • Operate during the core hours of 0600-1730 (M-F).
  • Receive, resolve, and/or assign customer support tickets
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Write training manuals.
  • Train computer users.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Clean up computers.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
  • Maintain VTC room access and usage logs.
  • Provide monthly metrics on VTC’s total number of sessions including successful and unsuccessful events.
Minimum Security Clearance Required:  Full SECRET security clearance.
  • Current Microsoft Desktop Operating System Certification
  • Must hold a current CompTIA Security + and/or International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium ((ISC)2) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Minimum Educational Requirement:  Associates Degree
