General Duties:
Performs clerical tasks such as answering telephones, handling mail, operating office equipment and maintaining office supplies. Gathers, compiles, and verifies information and performs data entry. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager but works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.
 
Specific Duties - Procurement Support:
Process Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data for purchasing material, equipment, and services via Government purchase card, contract and/or Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP).
Ensure Purchase Card Request Forms (PCRFs) are completed and necessary changes are made
Upload required documentation to ERP by utilizing the Document Management System (DMS)
Coordinate with the Acquisition Requirements Planner (ARP) or the Department requestors
Create ERP requisitions for MILSTRIP and Government purchase card requests
Utilize ERP to determine if the material is available in Plant Stock
 
Generate monthly purchasing reconciliation reports and complete general clerical tasks, including typing, scanning and filing records
Assemble purchase card reconciliation packages for monthly processing
Check orders against original purchase documents.
 
Monitor incoming and outgoing orders for errors and report discrepancies
Ensure shipment contents are double-checked for accuracy
Organize and maintain procurement files for hard copy and electronic record keeping
Verify information using established procedures and desk guides
 
Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
 
Security:
Must have an Active SECRET or recently inactivated SECRET clearance
