Description:
Perform a variety of tasks in support of multiple environmental program areas, such as, but not limited to: environmental research and interpretation; environmental inspections, reporting and corrective action implementation; presentations of environmental compliance objectives/issues/etc. during meetings; .
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Geography, Ecology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Life or Physical science to demonstrate basic understanding and knowledge of :
Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations,
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA),
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Clean Water Act (CWA),
Title V Clean Air Act, Stormwater,
Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Tier II and Toxics
Release Inventory (TRI) Reporting.
- Experience in environmental compliance.
- Experience working with/coordinating with regulatory agencies.
- Experience with MicroSoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
- Previous work with the Department of Defense, a plus.
- Training and certifications, such as 40-hr HAZWOPER, a plus.
